Maudie is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Merseyside. Whether she's playing solo as a singer songwriter at acoustic events, or providing the drum beat for a session band, Maudie's influences of Classic Rock, Jazz and Folk come through in her playing.

Expressing the wish to perform live since a young age, Maudie played in many orchestras and Jazz bands during her childhood and teens. It was during this time she developed her skills on the saxophone, flute and percussive instruments.

As her interest in drumming grew, Maudie played in many venues across Liverpool and Sefton with her band 'Marshmellow Skies', before moving to Cornwall to study Popular Music at Falmouth University, where she co-formed the bands '2 North 3 South' and 'The Day Before Tuesday'. She also spent a few months as the drummer for the function band 'Tenity', before completing her degree working with session band 'Nine Fifteen'.

Growing up surrounded by artists and musicians was something that helped spark Maudie's dreams of performing, and encouraged her to join dance and acting groups that furthered her love for the arts. To this day, Maudie's love for art and theatre matches her enthusiasm for music.

Alongside the artists and musicians Maudie was surrounded by, the start of her musical life was heavily influenced by the teachers and lecturers who pushed her to be her best. Re-paying this debt and passing on both her skill and passion for the arts is something she is bringing into her future post-university, offering drum lessons to people of all ages and standards to ensure the future of the music industry.
